2021 marks 20 years since the 11 September 2001 attacks on the US mainland. This online roundtable explores the changing transnational militant Islamist threat landscape, analysing trends since 9/11 and future scenarios for Al-Qaeda-Islamic State relations, militant Islamist strategy, and the balance of affiliate relationships.
