TVS ZEPPELIN 220

TVS Zeppelin is the cruiser motorcycle that was showcased back in 2018 Auto Expo. The showcased model was the concept model but we expect the production to be 70-80 per cent similar to the concept as TVS has proved it in their previous concept to a production model. There has been no talk from the company about this cruiser motorbike since the 2018 Auto Expo. So let’s see if the wait for the TVS cruiser is worth or not?

TVS has been consistently breaking their records in terms of design, the TVS Zeppelin will be no exception. The bike as a concept looks a spectacular cruiser. It gets a long tank unit, premium looking headlamp unit and a long-wheelbase along with a cruiser stance. Along with that the bike also has very nicely finished panels that mesh quite nicely. The bike looks like a bigger and premium cruiser motorcycles.

The TVS Zeppelin cruiser will be equipped with a 220 cc single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine, oil-cooled engine. The concept model has the liquid cooler, but the liquid-cooler will make the bike on the expensive side, so the bike has a lot more possibility to come with the oil-cooler. The engine will be a bored-out version of the TVS Apache’s 197.5 cc engine. So we can assume the power output around 20-22 bhp max and torque output around 18 Nm of a peak. The engine will come mated with 5-speed gearbox and slipper clutch. The bike is supposed to have better performance compared to its rival.
