27 crew members are missing after Typhoon Chaba tore a ship in half before it sank. Three were saved from the sinking vessel.

Hong Kong’s Flying Service are looking into the night for any other survivors. A No 8 storm warning has been issued.

This comes two days after the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong’s handover to mainland China.
