This little kid was left behind in Afghanistan during the Kabul evacuations.

Hamid and Farima found him when they themselves were trying to get out of the country. Hamid’s intentions of leaving Kabul changed after he’d found the baby at the airport, as he decided to care for the child until his parents were found.

The family was in touch with the Red Crescent Society and was able to contact the birth parents who are currently living in the US.
