‘This is the Aftermath of ANOTHER Turkey, Syria Earthquake’

Another earthquake has hit Turkey, killing at least six people, and injuring 300, including 18 seriously.
The 6.4 magnitude tremor struck on Monday, near the city of Antakya - a region near the border with Syria. It’s an area already devastated by a 7.8 magnitude quake two weeks ago, killing 44 thousand people.

Tens of thousands of people were left homeless as buildings collapsed in both Turkey and Syria, and the most recent tremor has sent more buildings down, trapping people under the rubble again.

The second earthquake came just one day after Turkey ended rescue efforts from the first earthquake in all but two provinces, after the country announced that no survivors were found in a 24-hour period.

32 aftershocks, including one 5.8 tremor following Monday’s quake were a terrifying reminder that the danger hasn’t gone away.
