The western United States is running out of water. Lake Mead supplies water to nearly 40 million people and its depth has fallen to 1,045 feet. It has lost 6 feet of water in just a month and is only at 28% capacity. If the Lake falls another 150 feet, water can no longer pass through the Hoover Dam. This will cut off 25 million Americans from the Colorado River.
