‘Andrew Tate Speaks Out Against SECOND Detention Extension’

Andrew Tate appeared in court on Wednesday to appeal against a second 30-day extension of his detention.

The 36-year-old is a dual British-U.S. citizen and self-described misogynist with nearly five million followers on Twitter. He was initially detained in late December in Romania’s capital, Bucharest, alongside his brother, Tristan, and two Romanian women.

They’re being held by an anti-organised crime agency pending a criminal investigation into alleged rape, human trafficking and forming of an organised crime group.

In mid-January, Tate lost an appeal against being held at the detention centre for the first 30 days.

If the court rejects their second appeal, all four will remain in custody until 27th February, as prosecutors continue investigating the case.

Prosecutors were seeking an extension of the brothers detention for up to 180 days whilst they continue their investigation into alleged charges.
