‘Australia’s New $5 banknote will Feature Indigenous History, NOT King Charles’
King Charles III will not feature on Australia’s new five dollar note, said Jim Chalmers, Australia’s treasurer.

The new design will pay tribute to “the culture and history” of Indigenous Australians.

“This is a good opportunity to strike a good balance between the monarch on the coins and a First Nations design on the fiver,” he said.
