News rocked the soccer world that Barcelona striker Lionel Messi wanted to leave the club after nearly 20 years with the team. The 33-year-old is one of the most celebrated names in soccer, winning a record record six Ballon d’Or Awards, 10 Spanish League titles and four Champions League crowns. Over in the KBO, the third place Doosan Bears edged out the Kia Tigers 10-8. In Major League Soccer, NYCFC bounces back to win their second game of the season 1-0 over Columbus Crew.
