‘Will Boris’ Party Apology Keep Him in His Job?’

After weeks of denials, the Prime Minister admitted a fact most already knew to be true… that he attended a party at Downing Street on 20th May, when the country was in the height of lockdown.

A sheepish Boris Johnson faced furious MPs in the House of Commons for Prime Minister’s Questions, and he used the time to apologise for attending what he apparently didn’t know was a party.

An apoplectic Sir Kier Starmer called the Prime Minister’s admission of ignorance a feeble excuse and asked him to resign, as did many MPs in the chamber.

But it’s not just these MPs who have had enough of Johnson. Members of his own constituency want to see the back of him too.
