The Chang’e-5 orbiter-sample return vehicle started the second trans-Earth injection maneuver on 13 December 2020, at 01:54 UTC (09:54 China Standard Time), setting course for its return to Earth about 22 minutes later. Chang’e-5 will perform midway corrections on the Moon to Earth transfer orbit.
