Chile: Streets on fire, roads blocked amid anti-migrant protest in Iquique

Locals, including truck drivers were seen flooding Iquique streets and roads in protest against spike in migration, Monday.
Smoke plumes rose from burning tyres in the middle of one of the streets, with a police water cannon used to extinguish the flames. A large number of truck drivers drove into the city, causing traffic jams.
Iquique has been a scene for protests against migrants, with tents set on fire, as people decried the rise in migration especially from Venezuela amid the spread of the coronavirus.
