China: Drone footage captures rescue operations at site of deadly gas blast in Chongqing

At least 16 people were confirmed dead following a gas explosion in a staff canteen on Friday in Chongqing.

Aerial footage captured emergency aid workers amid rubble and debris during rescue operations.
Workers on-site continued to search for unaccounted persons. According to local reports, the canteen explosion in which 26 people were trapped could have been produced by a gas leak in the building.

The explosion happened at 12:10 pm local time in the canteen of Fengshan Sub-district Office in the Wulong District of Chongqing.
