China’s Shanxi province was hit by heavy rain and floods as the rainfall broke the record in early October in many places.
The Yuncheng section of the Fenhe River in Shanxi Province is facing the largest flood peak in nearly 40 years, as captured by drone footage on Thursday.
Yuncheng has initiated a level III emergency response for flood control, and people in Xinjiang County have been evacuated overnight.
