China has launched its most ambitious space mission yet as it sent a spacecraft to Mars.

Probe Tianwen-1 will look for underground water on the Red Planet as well as any evidence of possible ancient life.

It’s one of three missions heading to Mars alongside the United States and the United Arab Emirates.
