China: Russian air defence crew trains ahead of International Army Games 2021

Russian army team prepared for the International Army Games’ Clear Sky air defence contest on Tuesday at the Korla training ground in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

The team’s gunners practiced firing from the Igla-S portable anti-aircraft missile system, the Kord machine gun, and the AK-12 submachine gun.

Drivers-mechanics of the Typhoon-Air Defence combat vehicle also took part in the drill, the Russian Ministry of Defence said, conducting high-speed driving training and overcoming obstacles of various complexity. The team also trained in passing the obstacle course and throwing grenades.

The International Army Games 2021 will be held from August 22 till September 4, with competitions taking place in 11 countries, including in Russia and China.
