‘China Still DENIES Wuhan Virus Origins One Year On’

One year ago, the Chinese city of Wuhan became patient zero in the global battle against the Covid-19 outbreak.

Its population of ten million people was among the first in the world to be placed under strict coronavirus lockdown measures.

But now, with life returning to something like normality, the President Xi Jinping and the Chinese government have adopted an “anywhere but Wuhan” approach to explaining the origins of the pandemic.

A World Health Organization investigation is underway, but some are concerned they will be strictly curtailed by the Chinese authorities.
