Chinese grandpa gets praised on social media for ingenious wooden creations

70-year-old carpenter Li Shishui attracted attention of social media users by posting videos of woodworks made for his grandchildren.

Li demonstrated his outstanding handwork at his home near Longyan on Thursday.

While his grandsons seem to gain great enjoyment from his toys, Li himself gets his satisfaction from their happiness and doesn’t seem too phased by his internet stardom.

“I’m happy when the kids are happy. I don’t need any other comments,” said the master.
