Two people have been killed in Poland after a missile struck the town of Przewodow near the Ukrainian border.

The Polish government initially suggested the missile was Russian, but world leaders are being careful not to lay the blame at the Kremlin’s door.

Questions have been raised over the rocket’s origins, but authorities have said there is no sign that the strike was intentional.

Polish President Andrzej Duda said it was “very likely” caused by Ukrainian air defences as they fended off a barrage of Russian strikes.
