An injured cow has been flown by helicopter from the Klausen Pass to the lower Alps near Urnerboden in Switzerland during “Bodenfahrt”, when about 1,000 cows are moved to lower pastures.

Ambros Arnold, a local farmer, said the cow had been limping for a month, and although she has recovered now, he didn’t want to risk her health on the journey and opted to airlift her.
