Deaf pittie rejected multiple times finally finds loving home

I adopted Mr. Breakfast in 2017 from a rescue in San Diego. He had already been adopted and returned quite a few times, and it turns out that the main reason for that was behavior and also him being deaf. When I first met him, Mr. Breakfast had already undergone an ear canal ablation surgery, not too long ago. And the severe ear infections that hadn’t been treated for so long, pretty much caused him to be almost completely deaf. And honestly, you can’t even tell at all [that he’s deaf]. Except, when he doesn’t respond to people. 

He’s the happiest, friendliest, most loving dog. He’s so patient and tolerant with everything, people, dogs, kids. Six months after I adopted him, I saw this post on Instagram for a dog surfing camp. So we went and tried it out. He did pretty well. So we did a few surf competitions and we would go out every weekend. 

But nowadays, he’s kind of somewhat retired from surfing. He prefers to just sort of lounge around and cuddle. He loves eating, especially breakfast, and he’s just a really happy dog to have around the house and, brings so much joy into my life.
