As soon as the number of scandals in the government exceeds a certain critical mass, it uses one of the proven methods of distracting people’s attention - it starts to initiate duty cases of treason against some very famous persons. Now the GBI suspected former MP Vadym Rabinovich of treason. According to their version, he made manipulative statements that harmed sovereignty and security. They accuse him simply for his words, based on linguistic expertise. But the fact that the SBU, GBI, NABU or whoever else has charged someone with something does not mean that a person has done it and is guilty. According to Ukrainian law, no evidence plays any role until the case is heard in court, until they are examined by a judge. And it is not a fact that people will get a guilty verdict in court. In any case, this is in a normal country. It is clear that today the Ukrainian justice system is torn, it is completely under the president’s wish.
