Story of a disabled dog - Scooty (World’s happiest dog)

Scooty’s early life didn’t hold much hope for happiness. When she was just a puppy, she was abandoned, hit by a car, and paralyzed. She dragged herself through the streets and did her best to survive, but her situation was dire. Things started to look up when she was rescued by California’s Baja Dog Rescue. It put out a call for donations, but Erica Loring decided she wanted to do much more than give money. She adopted Scooty even though, at the time, the dog couldn’t walk at all. Thanks to many therapies and treatments, Scooty started walking  within that first year. Erica says she’s also overcome her shyness and has transformed into a happy, goofy dog who loves splashing around the waves, wrestling, and, running around.
