Hello friends this time I have build a CAM profile plotter machine prototype.
I have 3D printed some different CAM design and used this machine I plot its CAM profile.

Basically CAM profile is :
The basic geometry of a cam profile consists of three arcs that outline the dwell–rise–return–dwell (D-R-R-D) periods in a cam rotation cycle

CAM profile is very crucial in machine designing, different types of reciprocating motion can achive by using different types of CAM.

I have used two stepper motor for this project one rotate CAM upto desired angle one slide the paper below the pen.
One end of pre-tension horizontal arm slides over the circumference of the CAM and other end plot the profile on the Paper.
I have used stepper motor just because precise rotation.
