President Donald Trump celebrated the expected approval of the first Covid-19 vaccine in the USA.

Trump declared that the expected approvals are coming before most people thought possible. “They say it’s somewhat of a miracle and I think that’s true,” he said.

With cases across the country soaring, the president defended the decision to host holiday parties at the White House.

“Frankly, we have reduced the number very substantially,” Trump told reporters, adding that he saw a lot of people at the parties wearing masks.

President-elect Joe Biden’s transition team was not invited to the Operation Warp Speed summit.

Trump insisted that he won the presidential election.“Hopefully the next administration will be the Trump administration,” he said.
