A deepfake video just released by the Russian state-controlled network RT pokes fun at US president Donald Trump.

The parody clip imagines Trump accepting a presenting job at the Russian broadcaster straight after losing the election to Joe Biden in November.

Trump’s caricature in the video is at the beck and call of Vladimir Putin and the Kremlin.

The short film has been released to advertise RT’s coverage of the 2020 US Presidential Election.
