Local Phone:+63 35 421 1343 http://dumaguete-studio-apartments.com/ The main attraction for travellers: Good security with high walls, barbed wire, and electrified fence; good internet (6mbps); nicer long term apartment facilities and massive pool; motor bikes available for rent or complimentary for long-term guests, very convenient for daily transport; lots of privacy and space in quiet area; laundry mat, and bakery next door, and sari-sari convenience store a few meters further down. Good safe place for tourists on vacation and short trips. The down side: It is further away from town, so if you do not want to ride a hired motor bike, you lose the motorbike advantage and transport convenience; negotiating affordable pedicab trike taxi's everyday can be pain, or expensive return trips from town; NO Smoking on the hotel grounds so you have to go outside the compound if you smoke cigarettes; there is a "smokey mountain" trash dump site near by (see Episode 21); if you don't want to ride a motor bike, or simply want more convenience in town there are plenty of competitive options near Rizal Boulevard, Lee Plaza mall, and Robinsons Place mall.
