Since Elon Musk announced months ago his intentions to acquire Twitter, controversies have done nothing but pile up.

After the big $44bn purchase of the platform, Musk fired top Twitter executives, including the chief executive, finance chief, and legal affairs and policy chiefs.

He also announced that they will charge £7/month to users who want to have a blue tick by their name to indicate they are a verified account.

On top of this, The Washington Post revealed earlier this week that Musk planned to lay off nearly 75% of Twitter’s employee base of 7,500 workers.
