Arianespace VS24 mission: a Soyuz ST-A launch vehicle launched the FalconEye satellite from the Soyuz Launch Complex (ELS) in Sinnamary, French Guiana, on 2 December 2020, at 01:33 UTC (1 December, at 22:33 local time). The FalconEye (Falcon Eye 2, ~1,190 kg) satellite is a high performance optical Earth-observation satellite system for the Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates (UAEAF) manufactured by Airbus Defence and Space and Thales Alenia Space.
