“Famous Elephant Herd Finally Wanders Home”

A herd of 15 elephants
which travelled across
China last year are heading home!

They’ve trekked more
than 300 miles since
leaving their nature
reserve. But, as of Sunday night,
they were only 125 miles
from home.

Local authorities have deployed personnel and drones to monitor the elephants, evacuated roads for them to pass safely and used food to distract them from populated areas.

Experts say the
elephants are now in
a suitable habitat.
