The ‘Arts Seven Hostel Capsule,’ located in Madrid, has been inspired by the famous Star Wars saga and other science fiction films.

The accommodation, which has single and double capsules instead of traditional rooms, allows you to feel like Ripley in Alien or Han Solo aboard the Millennium Falcon, thanks to the decoration of its facilities.

“The hostel is set in cinema, in films, and each room will have its own theme, especially science fiction films,” explained Abel Ruiz, manager of the accommodation on Tuesday, adding that “there will be all kinds of activities, film festivals, music, so that, let’s say, it’s more of an experience than a place to sleep.”

According to its creators, this is the first capsule hotel in the Spanish capital, a concept imported from Japan that consists of an evolution of traditional bunk beds that allows guests greater intimacy.

In addition, the capsules are equipped with technological amenities such as USB chargers, personalised lighting, smoke detectors, TV, air conditioning and a safe.
