The 24 Hours of Le Mans is much more than just an endurance race. It is the place where myth, legend, memories, anecdotes, personalities and cars have raced since 1923. Ferrari’s history at Le Mans is one of successes, dating back to 1949 with the 166 MM Barchetta Touring driven by Luigi Chinetti and Lord Selsdon, and that has seen Ferrari on the top step of the podium on 38 occasions, with nine overall wins and 29 class victories. A story that resumes after a 50-year wait.
