Lionel Messi was seen greeting fans outside the Parc des Princes stadium, home to French football team Paris Saint-Germain, on Tuesday, after signing a two-year contract with the team.

Supporters gathered outside the stadium to catch a glimpse of the star player.

Messi will be presented as a PSG player on Wednesday after signing a deal worth about €35m ($41m) a year net, with an option to extend.

FC Barcelona announced on Thursday that Messi would be leaving the club after “financial and structural obstacles” thwarted contract renewal negotiations.
