SOT, Marlene Stickel, Communications Manager for Grignon 2000 Association and protest organiser (French): “For 200 years, agricultural engineers have been trained on the Grignon campus. And we would like it to continue, we don’t want this site to be sold to a real estate developer who will simply dismantle the site and who will not allow us to keep its educational and agricultural vocation.”

SOT, Jean-Luc Melenchon, Leader of La France Insoumise parliamentary group (French): “They are on a case and a battle, I am in favour of everything that makes it possible to raise public awareness on general cases. Here, for example, they are transforming a training campus, a site, into a pure commodity without taking into account neither what is happening nor the ecological consequences that would have waterproofing soils higher up towards the Plateau de Saclay.”
