‘Gaza Conflict ERUPTS Agains As Israel Launches Air Strikes on Hamas Targets’

The decades-old dispute over the holy city of Jerusalem has descended once again into bloodshed as Israel launched air strikes after Hamas fired rockets from the Gaza Strip.

On Jerusalem Day, after a weekend of mounting tensions between Israeli Defence Forces and Palestinians in the city, sirens sounded as militants fired rockets from densely populated areas in the Palestinian territory.

Israel’s Iron Dome defence system was able to intercept much of the incoming fire, but Palestinians were defenceless against the retaliatory strikes, which killed 22 people, including nine children.
