Germany: Baerbock demands Russian troops withdrawal, as G7 def ministers meet at MSC

German Defence Minister Annalena Baerbock apealed to Russia to withdraw its troops from the border with Ukraine, in Munich on Saturday.

“There is still a way out which the Russian government can decide to take at any time,” Baerbock said, speaking on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference. “Don’t make this fatal mistake. Withdraw your troops. Prevent damage from happening to Ukraine and Russian and let us talk.”

She went on to label the evacuation order by the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) groundless, stating Kiev has given no reason for such a move.
