​Germany: Baerbock invites 'everyone to get vaccinated' against COVID at Chemnitz rally

Candidate for chancellor and federal chairwoman from the Green Party in Germany Annalena Baerbock held an open-air rally in the city of Chemnitz on Friday as part of her political campaign ahead of the federal elections.

“Please, please get vaccinated, if we have over 80 percent then we can make sure that there is no serious lockdown again,” the candidate told the crowd.

As the green party candidate invited the audience to vote for a better Germany, posters could be seen in the audience demanding the candidate to talk to the climate change hunger strikers, who continue their protest in front of the Reichstag.

Germany’s federal election will take place on September 26.
