At least two protesters were arrested in Cologne on Saturday, after taking part in a demonstration outside the Alternative for Germany (AfD) convention. Several hundred protesters blocked AfD delegates' access to the convention. Police helicopters and boats were deployed and riot police used water cannons to disperse the crowds. Protesters carried banners reading "No borders" and "Refugees welcome." AfD is a right-wing political party. Their federal convention is being held at Cologne's Maritim Hotel between April 22 and 23.
