Germany: Laschet joins Elon Musk's Tesla Gigafactory visit near Berlin

Tesla CEO Elon Musk visited the construction site of his Tesla Gigafactory for electric vehicles together with CDU chancellor candidate Armin Laschet on Friday afternoon.

Journalists and representatives of the US company Tesla had been equipped with safety vests and helmets before entering the site. About fifty people were present during the visit.

Musk combined the site visit with a family stay with his girlfriend Grimes and his five children in the nearby capital Berlin.
