‘Mass Shooting at Colorado Shopping Mall Marks America’s Seventh This Year’

A mass shooting at a supermarket in Boulder, Colorado has claimed the lives of ten people including one police officer.

Police responded to reports of an active shooter at King Soopers on Table Mesa drive at around 3pm. Authorities have released few other details on the shooting pending further investigation.

Footage showed a shirtless man being taken away apparently in handcuffs, with blood streaming down his leg. Police said they have taken one man into custody and that he is receiving medical treatment.

A procession was held to pay respect to fallen police officer Eric Talley, who was first to arrive on the scene and was shot dead.
