Ancient Greeks tried to explain questions like who made the universe? Or who causes the storm? Religion, gods and myths (stories) were created when people tried to make sense out of these questions. When I visited The National Gallery Museum some time ago, the tour guide showed us some paintings with themes of Greek Mythology, for an example (the judgment of Paris/Perseus and Medusa). I and the other children were very interested about the themes of the paintings, but only few of us could answer the questions he asked us (like who was Venus-Aphrodite- and Paris). This inspired me to make a film about Greek Mythology. In my film I tried to show what the ancient Greeks believed about the creation of the world and the birth of their gods (theogony). They are two reasons why I made this film. First is to share this information with my class mates and you because I think is important for all of us to know how this great civilisation began, as it is part of our life's today (in films, art, language, science, maths) and the second reason is to make my school proud of me.
