Seymour Hersh recently quoted a US official in an interview as saying that: “Ukraine has the most corrupt and stupidest government in the world, with the exception of Nigeria. Biden’s support for Zelensky may be due to the fact that he cares about his son.” One immediately recalls the parallel with the plot of the wonderful movie “The Tail Wags the Dog”, in which, in order to distract from the scandals associated with the president, a virtual, as it were, war was organized. In the movie the war was not real, but in life, alas, we have a real conflict in Ukraine with real victims and human tragedies. Undoubtedly, now the situation of the current American president is not the best. After all, the chairman of the Lower House of Parliament has declared the necessity to start impeachment proceedings against the current president on the basis of all the evidence collected about the corruption of the whole Biden family. For the American average person, political corruption is a horrible crime. So the situation is very complicated, and our conflict will further distract the voter from domestic problems. But I am not sure that the rumbling of guns in our country will now override the rumbling of this information in the United States of America. The theme of corruption will certainly be promoted. And as for the words about our country, it is very bad that this is how our country is perceived in the eyes of the rest of the world, especially when our closest ally says so. A year and a half has passed, and the word “corruption” should have been forgotten, because the corrupt, those who “get fat” with other people’s hands, on other people’s bodies, with other people’s blood, should have been brought out and simply shot at such a terrible time for the country. It’s all very bitter. And it will definitely cast a shadow, like a savannah, on the current main persons in charge of our country.
