Yesterday, at dusk, on a walk, my Dog Kubik and I saw a small bird on a twig. The bird turned out to be a real sparrow owl (Eurasian pygmy owl) that went out for an evening hunt. He probably catches mice at night in our Bird Cafe.
The sparrow owl is the smallest owl on our continent. And with its size, it winters even in Siberia, hunting small birds and rodents.
