Hero splendor 200 Launch Plans Confirmed
In an interview with BusinessLine, Hero India Chairman, revealed that Hero has not used the iconic Splendor moniker on any product till now as they have plans with it in the future. Thus confirming that SPLENDOR will be back. But there is a catch, though. Hero can’t just bring back the SPLENDOR back as it was based on a four-stroke engine that will never meet the stringent BS6 emission norms.

Hero India also just can’t slap an SPLENDOR badge on just any bike and call it a day. Because the new bike has to live up to the legend that the previous model was. It has to have the perfect combination of retro design paying homage to the old model, an explosive performance that the old model was known for and it has to be a special product and not a commuter bike. This is a huge task for Hero India to pull off. But pull-off, they will.
