Hindus celebrate Dussehra festival to mark triumph of good over evil

The festival, celebrated across India, marks the victory of good over evil after Rama defeated Lanka king Ravana, depicted as a 10-headed demon king. It also marks the victory of Durga over the demon king Mahishasur.
