Historic Scenes as US Capitol Stormed By Donald Trump Supporters:

Donald Trump supporters have stormed the US Capitol, forcing the seat of government into lockdown. Members of Congress were forced to seek shelter in offices and even wear gas masks after teargas was used by demonstrators.

Protesters breached exterior security barriers and police officers drew guns as protesters tried to break into the House chamber.

Chants of ‘We Want Trump’ echoed through the hallways as press and lawmakers were taken to an undisclosed location

It came after Trump made more baseless claims of electoral fraud during a speech in front of tens of thousands of chanting supporters gathered near the White House.

The event was meant to be a sideshow to the certification of the electoral college vote which will formally confirm Joe Biden’s victory in the presidential election.
