Huge Explosion at San Diego Naval Base Injures 21 People

Twenty one people have reportedly been hospitalised with “non-life threatening injuries” following a huge explosion at a San Diego Naval Base.

A fire broke out aboard the USS Bonhomme Richard on July 12 at around 9AM, the blaze escalated to a three-alarm fire.

Seventeen sailors and four civilians are being treated for minor injuries.

Following an investigation, it’s believed the explosion and fire were caused by a change in air pressure.
