‘Huge Explosion in New York as Propane Tanker Flips and Ignites’

A huge fire erupted on a New York highway on Tuesday after a truck transporting highly flammable propane gas rolled over and exploded.

Police said the driver swerved after was cut off by another vehicle, causing the tanker to flip and the gas to spill and ignite.

The Long Island Expressway westbound in the Queens area of New York city was closed to all traffic while firefighters burnt off the excess propane and brought the fire under control.
