‘Hurricane Ida BATTERS Gulf Coast with 150mph Winds’

Experts are predicting catastrophic damage in Louisiana and a potentially “life-threatening” storm surge as Hurricane Ida makes landfall in the US.

The category four storm is expected to be much stronger than Hurricane Katrina that hit in 2005 with sustained winds of up to 150mph.

Only 7mph weaker than a category five storm, it could still stengthen as it strikes the coastline.
