Flying up a ridge along the Northern side of Haaheo seamount, through the incredibly clear waters of the Central #Pacific, the #NautilusLive team witnessed amazing diversity of life. Explore a snapshot of this dive including ROV Hercules investigating #corals, bolosoma #sponges, #crustaceans, and even a #seastar enjoying a bamboo coral meal. While investigating the geological history of these seamounts to understand if they are a continuation of the Wentworth Seamount Chain, the team has witnessed a wide plethora of wildlife during thirteen ROV dives on the unexplored areas of Papahānaumokuākea Marine National Monument.
